"This Bud's for you" will now take on a whole new meaning.  The next big step within the craft beer industry is going to be moving from barley and hops to cannabis.  Former Chief Marketing Officer for Anheuser Busch, Chris Burggraeve , joined an advising comity for  GreenRush  Group out of San Francisco California.   GreenRush  Group says they want to become the "Amazon of weed".  Chris made a second investment co-founding Toast, which specializes in  pre -rolled joints.  The cannabis industry is quickly growing with many investors as its backbone.  Constellation Brand Inc. which sells Corona in the U.S. just invest in Canopy Growth Corporation, a Canadian seller of medical marijuana.  Currently 64% of the United States population wants to lift the ban on cannabis.  In 1969 only 12% of the U.S. population were pro marijuana.  The fight toward legalization has come a long way. Thanksgiving has creeped up on us, shockingly  being only  2 days away.  I'm sure we'll all have to stop by the grocery store for last minute necessitates to make a killer turkey day - just make sure you don't get trampled by the hundreds of other people scrambling through Stop and Shop. This is the one day of the year where it's okay to go overboard with side dishes, some of my favorites being: mashed potatoes, yams, cranberry sauce, stuffing, rolls, gravy, and of course the famous pumpkin pie . Exciting news came out today about Trillium Brewing Company opening a winter beer garden in Roslindale. Now Bostonians have a new winter wonderland where they can enjoy some quality beer. The beer garden will be open five days a week and they will be have rotating draft options. The "Trillium Garden at the Substation" will be located at the Roslindale substation. This past summer, Trillium had a beer garden at the corner of High Street and Atlantic Avenue in Boston. Trillium enjoyed that experience so much, a little cold weather was not going to stop them from opening a winter beer garden. The faculty at Craft Brewniversity is super excited to check this out!
