Thanksgiving has creeped up on us, shockingly  being only  2 days away.  I'm sure we'll all have to stop by the grocery store for last minute necessitates to make a killer turkey day - just make sure you don't get trampled by the hundreds of other people scrambling through Stop and Shop. This is the one day of the year where it's okay to go overboard with side dishes, some of my favorites being: mashed potatoes, yams, cranberry sauce, stuffing, rolls, gravy, and of course the famous pumpkin pie . Soon there will be no more pumpkin beer on the shelves and it is time for my favorite season for beer. Here in New England, when winter hits, it hits hard. What better way to end a long frigid day then to enjoy a strong, flavorful beer. Winter seasonals include all the flavors we love in the winter. Such as cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, fig, maple, and sometimes even chocolate.
